About Us

The Canadian Network of MS Clinics is a consortium of Canadian clinics for patients, clinical staff, physicians and researchers founded in 1998.

The Canadian Network of MS clinics has assisted with the recruitment of patients to multiple clinical studies and for national collaborations in research; a coordinated approach that has reduced redundancy and maximized research efficiency in Canada.

Our Vision

  • To provide leadership in providing medical care to persons with MS
  • To maintain and improve the care provided in Canadian MS Clinics
  • To develop liaisons with the MS Society of Canada, the North American Consortium of MS Centres, the Canadian Neurological Society, the Network of European MS Centres, industry, and federal and provincial government agencies
  • To provide educational opportunities to facilitate the understanding of MS

Our Objectives

  • To further the understanding of the etiology, pathogenesis, and management of MS through collaborative research
  • To critically evaluate MS research with regards to methodology and the significance of outcomes
  • To develop position statements, clinical practice guidelines, reviews, and symposia upon clinical and research issues for publication and communication as may most expediently benefit the health of the Canadian population
  • To act in an advisory capacity as may from time to time be requested
